About Course

This course is designed to equip Safety and Health Committee members with the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to effectively execute their roles in workplace safety. It fulfills the legal requirement for OHS committee members as stipulated under Kenya’s Safety and Health Committee Rules, 2004 (Legal Notice No. 31).

This interactive training course introduces participants to the core principles of occupational health and safety (OHS), the legal framework under the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 2007, and practical tools for implementing effective workplace safety measures. The course emphasizes legal compliance, risk prevention, and building a proactive safety culture through the active involvement of health and safety committees.
